The 2012 District X Lacrosse championships will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Fairview High School. The game times have changed. The schedule is now as follows: 5PM Boys Championships (McDowell vs Prep) followed at 7PM with the Girls Championship (McDowell vs Villa).
District X champions will advance into a sub-regional game on Saturday, May 26th against District VI representative at a site to be determine.
2012-13 Athletic Physicals

The athletic physical date for the 2012-13 school year will be June 2
nd. The scheduled is below:
Schedule for School Physicals on Saturday, June 2, 2012:
8:00am – 9:00am All Fall Sports – Grades 9 – 12
9:00am – 9:45am All Winter Sports – Grades 9 – 12
9:45 am – 10:30am All Spring Sports – Grades 9 – 12
10:30am – 11:00am All Fall Sports – Grades 7 – 8
11:00am – 11:30pm All Winter Sports – Grades 7 – 8
11:30pm – 12:00pm All Spring Sports – Grades 7 – 8
Physicals must be redone each year. This is a good opportunity to get the physical taken care of early! The forms can be found on the district website.
Requirements to Play

A few reminders: each player is
required to complete a Physical test before the Athletic Department will clear your daughter to participate.
If you have not done so already please do so that your daughter will be eligible to participate on March 5th.
All ImPACT testing should now be complete. Any girl who does not have a valid baseline in the system after June 1, 2010 will have to arrange for her own individual testing time and will not be permitted to practice nor play in games until this is complete.
Physical Examination: Each player shall complete the
MTSD Comprehensive Athletic Physical Packet if they have not already done so for another sport for the 2011 – 2012 school year and submit it to the Athletic Department
by March 5, 2012. If the player has completed the physical packet for another sport this school year and was injury free throughout the season, the short form update is all that is required. Please contact the Athletic Department at (814) 835-5428 with any questions.
Please be aware that Athletic Department requirements stipulate that players who do not have their completed physical packet on file in the Athletic Department by the start of the season on March 5, 2012 are not eligible to participate in any capacity until the requirement is satisfied. No Physical = No Participation.

Dues: The player dues deadline is March 5th for High School and March 6th for Middle School. No player will be permitted to practice until her financial obligations are met OR they are meeting their payment plan as set up with the program. No player will receive a uniform unless their dues are paid in full. The Dues Payment Policy can be found under the Documents & Forms tab.
Uniform Deposit checks: A deposit check is required in order to receive your uniform. For high school, a deposit of $150.00 is required. For middle school, a deposit of $75.00 is required. This check can be post-dated to May 1st and will be held uncashed until the end of the season. Once the complete uniform is washed and returned in good condition, the deposit check will be returned. If any part of the uniform is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the replacement cost of that item will be deducted from the deposit.
